Privacy notice
This page sets out, in plain terms, what happens to the personal details you share with us when you ring, send a WhatsApp message or use the enquiry form on this site.
The company responsible
Your details are held by Emergency Plumber London Ltd, company number 12326959, which trades as Emergency Plumb London and is the data controller. Questions about your information go to [email protected], or ring 07861 933265.
The details we hold
- From the enquiry form: your name and phone number, plus whatever else you add, such as an email address, a postcode, the kind of help you need and a description of the problem.
- From calls and WhatsApp: your number, the address of the job, what you tell us about the problem and any photos or videos you send.
- From the job itself: the work carried out, the invoice and how it was paid.
- When the form is sent: a Cloudflare Turnstile check runs in your browser to tell people from automated spam, and a one-way scrambled version of your internet address is held for 24 hours so the same device cannot flood the form. We cannot turn it back into the original address.
This site does not use advertising or analytics cookies.
What we use them for
- Getting back to you, sending an engineer, and doing and invoicing the work you ask for. The lawful basis is that this is needed to agree and carry out a contract with you.
- Keeping accounts and tax records, which the law requires.
- Dealing with any question or guarantee claim after the job, which is in both our interests.
Your details are never sold, and we will not send you marketing.
Who else handles them
- The engineer who attends your job, and our own job management system, which runs on a server we control.
- Service providers that work for us and may use your details only to do so: Cloudflare, which runs this website, its enquiry form and the spam check; and Google, which hosts our email.
- HMRC, or anyone else the law obliges us to share them with.
How long we keep them
An enquiry that does not lead to a job is deleted after 12 months. Job records, invoices and payment records are kept for six years after the job and then deleted.
Your rights
You may ask for a copy of what we hold about you, have it corrected, have it deleted where we are not legally bound to keep it, or object to how it is used. Write to [email protected] and you will have a reply within a month.
If you are not happy with our answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office through ico.org.uk, though we would appreciate the chance to put things right first.
Updates
This notice was last changed on 18 October 2026. If the way we handle your details changes, this page will change with it.
